There's a whole heap of different elements that go in to writing a novel. Ask different authors what they prefer, and you'll get a variety of answers. Some love plotting or working out themes and story arcs. Some prefer writing dialogue, making up different characters, or the general nitty-gritty of writing.

Online retailer Amazon has reported that customers bought more Kindle e-books than physical books this Christmas. Amazon's e-reader, The Kindle, was also the most gifted item in their history. Waterstone's say that they sell an e-book every ninety seconds. It all sounds like pretty amazing news for the future of e-books.
More and more e-readers are being introduced to the market, giving purchasers greater choice to customize their bookhabits.
