Latte, cappuccino, regular? What’s your coffee time pleasure? I like decaf Seattle’s Best with a hefty dollop of real cream.  I can’t really do cocoa, so I make due (happily) with the decaf.

Real cream, yummmm! What flavour cookie would you like with that? Actually, I prefer York Peppermint Patties.  They add a creaminess with a minty taste.

What’s your greatest writing achievement to date?
Having completed three entire books.

Huge congrats on that! Who is your hero and why?
I don’t tend to have heroes, not in the individual way many people do.  I admire and respect our first responders – EMTs, police officers, fire fighters – and our military.  They make sacrifices most of us couldn’t contemplate.

Yep, I agree with you there, TL. I worked for the police for ten years - they do such a fab job with more and more cutbacks. Which word best defines your writing?
“Complex” I think would fit.

Intresting! I've checked out the descriptions for your novels and they look fnatastic! What’s the most recent thing that made you laugh?
My cats playing on the stairs in our condo.

I can totally relate to that. We've got 8 rescue cats and some of the things they do are hilarious! Which book is on your coffee table right now?
I don’t really have a coffee table – more like little leather ottomans.  However, there are books on the loveseat.  The one on top is “Creating the Not So Big House” by Sarah Susanka.

What was the name of your first pet?
Joyce.  She was a beagle mix, named after my aunt.

Oh, bless! Who is your favourite character and why?
My own favourite character?  Ethan Moore.  Why?  He’s just troubled, and tortured.  And he loves deeply.

What’s your most embarrassing moment?
Um…do I have to tell?  Probably it would be when I was in the hospital after surgery, and apparently – I don’t remember the details, thank God – spoke very, very frankly to one of my friends about my husband. She won’t tell me what I said, and I don’t want to know.

Ouch!

Thanks for joining me today, TL, it's been a pleasure!

Happy reading!
