 The Phoenix and the Darkness

I've been running from The Darkness since I left home at the age of 17.  I escaped a broken family to the military, found it unwelcoming to creative non-conformists but fulfilled my commitment.  The first man I dated was a drunkard who suffered from post traumatic stress disorder; the second raped me.  The rest of my ti...

Vaccine Nation Guest Blog Post

When I started formulating ideas for my new thriller, Vaccine Nation, I settled first on writing about a gutsy, strong-willed woman protagonist.  That decision was influenced by the enjoyment I got from creating and living with the character of Sasha, the feisty heroine of my first novel, Trojan H...

“Write or Die”
By Danielle Blanchard

2010 was the worst year of my life.
After a very successful career in the banking industry, I suddenly found myself unemployed, my marriage falling apart and to add insult to injury my father dying. I had a 10 month old daughter and suddenly, I was back living with my unmarried, child-free sister with two children. Life was bleak and the mo...

Posted by sibelhodge on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, In : Books

I'm excited to announce my fifth novel, The Baby Trap, will be out in the next few weeks!

This is a special book for me because it's based on my own experiences with infertility and two attempts at IVF. The Baby Trap will have you laughing and crying at the ups and downs of modern baby-making…

When Gina turns thirty-three her body clock unexpectedly begins clanging in her ear with annoying persistence. The only problem is, having a baby isn’t as easy as she thought. Whether she’s feng sh...

 Latchkey Kid

by Heather Marie Adkins

It isn’t easy being the daughter of a police officer, but it’s even more difficult to be the daughter of a female police officer. I would come to understand this early, and often, in my life.
My mom’s career has always been the whirling force of my existence.
She was sworn into the Louisville Police Department on September 10, 1990. I w...

Love in a Minor Key

While my main characters wake me early in the morning and keep me tossing and turning at night, there are days when I find myself seduced by the charms of one of the minor characters inhabiting my personal universe.

Like Sir Walter de Rochefort.

Ah, Sir Walter, you relentless tease. Of all the characters in my Ripple series, he’s the most likely to tell me what he’s thinks of something. Anything. T...

 Knight in Shining Armour

by Shéa MacLeod

It’s strange how long a bruise can last.

Long after the physical evidence is gone, the muscles remember.  A raised hand or an angry voice, and the body flinches away.  The mind tries to forget, bury the pain deep … but the scars are forever.

It didn’t start that way, of cour...

Away With The Fairies

I've got a guest post today on my blog by Vivienne Tufnell...

Interview with Isobel...

As a writer, I meet some extraordinary people in the course of my work and I get to write their stories for them. Of all the people who have appeared in my books, Isobel Trelawny, whom you may know from Away With The Fairies, has appeared in more tales than anyone else. She's played best supporting actress in several but she's the star of Away With The Fairies and today she's agreed to sit down with me and h...

The With Love series orchestrators are proud to announce the release of our newest volume: After Dark. This incredible addition to the series enables us to continue to expand the reach of authors and artists around the world, by reaching a new fans. This anthology has a paranormal theme.
